Business stationery and commercial printing in Lahore

Commercial print is the everyday material a business runs on: cards, letterheads, invoice books, brochures, catalogues, profiles, diaries and calendars. It is unglamorous and it is also the print most often produced badly, because it is usually bought on price from whoever is nearest.

Business cards are the clearest example. The same design on 300 gsm and 400 gsm board feels like two different companies, and the finish does more than the artwork: matte lamination with spot UV on the logo costs very little more than plain gloss and reads as considerably more expensive. Foil and embossing cost more but land harder, because the card is felt as well as seen.

Bill books, invoice and receipt books are a different problem — a functional product where numbering, carbonless paper sequence, binding and perforation have to be right or the book is useless. We print them in duplicate and triplicate with sequential numbering, perforated for tearing and bound to sit flat.

Longer publications — catalogues, company profiles and annual reports — are where process shows. Page count drives the binding: saddle-stitched for slim documents, perfect-bound once the spine can carry it. Imposition, paper weight and how the document opens all need deciding before printing, not after. Above a certain quantity these belong on the offset press; below it, digital is faster and cheaper.

The practical benefit of running a whole stationery system through one press is consistency. Your card, letterhead, folder, profile and carrier bag are matched against a single approved proof and a single colour reference, so the brand blue is the same blue on all of them.

Paper choice changes how stationery feels more than any other decision, and it is usually made carelessly. Coated stock holds ink on the surface, so colours stay bright and photographs reproduce well — right for brochures and catalogues. Uncoated stock absorbs ink, so it prints softer and slightly darker, but it takes a pen and feels better in the hand, which is why letterheads and business cards are often uncoated by choice rather than economy. If your letterhead will go through an office printer or be written on, tell us — it rules some stocks out entirely.

Reprints are the other thing to plan for. Stationery is reordered for years, and a batch that does not match the last one is immediately obvious when the two sit in the same drawer. We retain the approved proof and the colour reference for exactly this reason, so a reorder in eighteen months is matched to the original rather than printed fresh from the file and hoped for. See our production controls for how that works.

Yes — in duplicate or triplicate on carbonless paper, sequentially numbered, perforated for tearing and bound to sit flat.

Page count decides it. Slim documents are saddle-stitched; once the spine can carry it, perfect binding looks and lasts better. Binding, paper weight and how the document opens all need deciding before printing rather than after.

Quantity decides. Above the break-even point offset is cheaper per unit and matches brand colours exactly; below it digital is faster and cheaper. We will tell you which.

That is the main reason to run a whole stationery system through one press. Your card, letterhead, folder, profile and bag are matched against a single approved proof and one colour reference, so the brand blue is the same blue on all of them.
