Packaging
Custom sleeve and slide boxes
Printed sleeve over a tray — opens like a drawer
A considered opening at folding-carton cost — gifting, sets and subscription packs.
When another style suits you better
- Consider Rigid boxes when the pack must feel substantial as well as look it.
The dieline
How this box is cut and folded
The sleeve is open at both ends and glued on one seam only. It is the tray inside that carries the product, so the two are drawn and sampled together.

Editable dieline template
A print-ready template with cut, crease and glue areas marked. Give it to your designer and the artwork will fit the box first time.

Hold one before you order
A structural mock-up is cut and creased in the actual production board, on your actual dieline. You can check that your product fits, how rigid the board is and how the box opens — before anything is printed.
Tell us the product and the rough dimensions and we will confirm what we can make and what it costs.

Questions
Questions about sleeve boxes
Anything not answered here, ask us directly — we would rather talk it through than have you guess.
A printed sleeve that slides over a separate tray. The sleeve carries the branding and the tray carries the product, so opening it feels like a drawer rather than a lid.
The sleeve and tray are two pieces and are drawn, sampled and quoted together — a sleeve on its own is not a box. The tray can be a folding carton or a rigid tray depending on how premium the pack needs to feel.
Tight enough to stay on, loose enough to slide without scuffing the print. That tolerance depends on board caliper, which is exactly why we cut a mock-up in the production board rather than calculating it.
Usually yes. A sleeve and tray give a considered opening at close to folding-carton cost, without the hand-wrapping that makes rigid boxes slower and dearer.
