Tube labelling from 100 pieces

Tube sticker pasting in Lahore — labelled tubes that look printed

A printed tube needs thousands of pieces before the tube factory will take the job. A precisely applied sticker does not. We label your tubes from 100 pieces — aligned, bubble-free, with a seam you have to look for — and can supply the blank tubes as well, so the whole thing arrives ready in one go.

When a printed tube is the better answer

At high volumes the tube factory's own print becomes cheaper per piece than a label, and a printed tube has no seam at all. If you are ordering in the many thousands and the artwork is settled, ask us to quote the printed tube too — we will tell you which side of the line your quantity sits on.

Tube sticker pasting in Lahore — a professional tube from 100 pieces

Tube sticker pasting is a simple idea done carefully: print the label, laminate it, die-cut it to the tube, and apply it by machine so the result looks like a printed tube. It exists because of a gap in the market. A factory that prints tubes wants a run in the thousands before it will set up, and a new skincare, haircare or clinic brand rarely has the sales — or the confidence in the artwork — to commit to that. So the brand either launches with a hand-stuck label that looks like a hand-stuck label, or it does not launch. This service is the third option. As far as we know it is the first time tube labelling has been offered in Pakistan as a ready, low-quantity package: labels, application and the blank tubes themselves, from 100 pieces.

The reason it looks printed comes down to four decisions that a hand-applied label cannot make. The material is film, not paper, so it does not wrinkle when the tube is squeezed. The adhesive is chosen for polyethylene and laminate tubes, so the edge stays down through months of a bathroom shelf. The lamination — matte, gloss or soft-touch — is what stops cream and oil from lifting the print. And the application is done by machine, which is what puts the label on straight, without a bubble, with the seam on the back where a label on a real printed tube would carry its own seam anyway. Get any one of those wrong and the tube says “sticker”; get all four right and it says “brand”.

Who uses it: cosmetics first — face wash, moisturiser, sunscreen, hand cream, serums in tubes, hair masks. Then the small-batch food producers who want a squeeze tube for honey, sauce or paste. Then clinics and salons with a private-label line. Then established brands who want to test a new variant or a limited edition without disturbing their main tube order. See the cosmetics packaging page for the carton and box that go with the tube; a labelled tube inside a printed mono carton is what most of our clients end up with, and we produce both.

The order runs like this. You tell us the tube — the size, the fill volume, whether it is a flip-top or a screw cap — or you tell us the product and we recommend one. You send artwork, or a brief and we design it; the dieline for the label depends on the tube’s diameter and taper, so the artwork is built to that dieline rather than to a guess. We print and laminate the labels, apply one to a blank tube, and put that sample tube in your hands. You check the fit, the colour and the finish on the real thing. Then we run the quantity — 100, 500, 2,000 — and deliver tubes ready to fill. If you asked us to supply the tubes, they arrive labelled; if you supplied them, we return them the same way.

What it costs depends on five things: the quantity, the label size (a full wrap costs more than a front panel), the material and lamination, any foil or spot-UV, and whether we are sourcing the tubes. There is no plate cost, so the price per tube does not collapse with quantity the way an offset carton’s does — which is exactly why it suits small runs and why, above a certain volume, a printed tube from the factory becomes the better buy. We will tell you where that line sits for your product rather than let you find out on the invoice. Our digital printing page explains the same economics for cartons and leaflets.

Artwork for a tube label follows the usual rules with one addition. Bleed, safety margin and outlined fonts are as they are for any label — the artwork guidelines cover them — and the addition is the seam: the two ends of a full wrap meet at the back, so nothing critical should sit within a few millimetres of either end, and a continuous pattern needs to be designed so the join does not fight it. We check for this at preflight and will move an element rather than print a label that meets itself in the middle of your logo.

To start, send the tube size or the product, the quantity you have in mind and your artwork through the quote form, or call or WhatsApp us on 0327 2777728. The first thing you will receive is a labelled sample tube, not a PDF.

Questions

Questions about tube sticker pasting

Anything not answered here, ask us directly — we would rather talk it through than have you guess.

Tube sticker pasting is labelling a blank tube with a printed, laminated sticker applied by machine so that it sits flat, aligned and bubble-free — a full wrap or a front-and-back panel. Done properly the tube looks printed. It is the way to get a professional tube in small quantities, because a factory-printed tube usually needs a run in the thousands and this starts at 100 pieces.

When the label is die-cut to the tube, laminated, and applied by machine with the seam on the back, the result is hard to tell from a printed tube at arm's length. What gives a hand-applied label away — a lifted edge, a bubble, a slant, a visible overlap — is what the application step removes. We send you a labelled sample tube before the run, so you judge it yourself rather than take our word for it.

100 tubes. That is the point of the service: a brand starting out, a new product being tested, or a salon or clinic line that sells a few hundred a month can have tubes that look like a large brand's without committing to a factory print run.

Yes, on request. Tell us the size, fill volume and cap style and we source the blank tubes, print and laminate the labels, apply them, and deliver tubes ready to fill — one order, one supplier. If you already have tubes, send them or send the dimensions and we label those.

Anything that lives in a squeeze tube: face wash, moisturiser, sunscreen, hand cream, hair products, ointments and gels, toothpaste-style pastes, sauces and honey. Cosmetics is the largest group — see cosmetics packaging. Pharmaceutical tubes are printed to the artwork you approve; regulatory responsibility rests with the marketing authorisation holder.

A tube is a curved, flexible surface that gets squeezed every day, so the label has to be film rather than paper, the adhesive has to hold on polyethylene or laminate, the lamination has to resist creams and oils, and the die-cut has to allow for the tube's taper. Our label printing covers the print; this service adds the material choice and the application.

Send the tube size or the product, your quantity and your artwork (or a brief for our designers) through the quote form, or call or WhatsApp 0327 2777728. We confirm the label spec, send a labelled sample tube, and quote the run. Price depends on quantity, label size, material, finish and whether we are supplying the tubes.
